Quality as defined by Trans Machine includes the goal of making our new replacement parts virtually indistinguishable from the OEM parts they replace.

This begins with a thorough analysis of the mechanical properties of the OEM part as well as an analysis of the manufacturing processes used to produce the part. Our production processes are designed to match those used to produce the OEM part, even if quicker or less expensive alternative processes may produce sufficient performance results.

Our commitment to consistently produce parts that look, perform, and possess the material qualities of an OEM part means that you can install every Trans Machine part with confidence.

Worry about something else.

FAQ

  1. How does your rebuilt exchange service work?

As an alternative to waiting for your particular part to be repaired, we stock many remanufactured Allison transmission parts for exchange sale. When an exchange sale item is available, we will ship the item to you and include on the invoice a core charge. Included with the shipment paperwork will be an RMA document. Providing we receive the identical part from you in repairable condition with the RMA document within 30 days of the invoice date, we will credit your account for the core charge. If the part returned in irreparable condition we will notify you, giving you the opportunity to return a repairable part before requiring payment for the core charge.
  2. Can I purchase a remanufactured item if I do not have a core to return to you?

In many case the answer is yes, depending upon the availability of cores. This is handled on a case by case basis.
  3. Who pays the cost of freight each way for items sent in for repair?

With a few exceptions, Trans Machine pays the cost of return freight on items sent to us for repair.
  4. What portion of the products you sell is made in the USA?

Trans Machine manufactures in our Midwest facility 99.9% of the products we sell. Currently 100% of the content of the products we manufacture and are made in the USA.
  5. Do you repair, manufacture, or remanufacture products other than Allison aftermarket parts?

Yes. In addition to Allison transmission parts, we also repair Terex parts, John Deere parts, Euclid parts, Voith parts, Twin Disc parts, Caterpillar Parts, and Clark Parts. We specialize in transmission hard parts and transmission housings and transfer cases.
  6. Do you have regional or international distributors?

While domestic and international parts distributors purchase our products, we do not have exclusive distributor agreements in place. Most of our sales are directly to end users or to transmission rebuilders.
  7. What do I do if I have a problem with a Trans Machine component?

When a customer has a problem with one of our products, our first response will be to get you a replacement part so that the down time of the unit is not extended. From that point, we will do a thorough investigation of the situation to determine the cause of the failure and any corrections required.
  8. What is the cut-off time for same day shipment of an order placed that day?

Generally orders received by 3:30 PM can be shipped the same day. In some cases this deadline can be extended.
